Allemagne: un réfugié syrien de 27 ans se fait sauter devant un restaurant d'Ansbach, 12 blessés

Une explosion a retenti dimanche soir vers 22 heures devant un restaurant de la ville d'Ansbach, en Bavière. Un réfugié syrien de 27 ans portait un sac à dos rempli d'explosifs et l'a déclenché en pleine ville. Il a été tué dans l'explosion tandis que douze autres personnes ont été blessées. La piste islamiste n'est pas exclue par les enquêteurs.

L'homme qui détenait les explosifs est le seul à avoir été tué.

Au moins 12 personnes ont été blessées, dont trois grièvement, dimanche soir dans une détonation à Ansbach, au sud de Nuremberg. L'auteur présumé qui est mort lors de l'explosion est un ressortissant syrien de 27 ans dont la demande d'asile avait été refusée.

"Il s'agit malheureusement d'un nouvel attentat terrible, qui à coup sûr accroît l'inquiétude des gens", a déclaré à la presse le ministre de l'Intérieur de Bavière, Joachim Herrmann, venu sur les lieux de l'explosion, la ville d'Ansbach (sud).

Selon lui, il n'est pas encore clair, si l'homme a agi dans le but de se suicider ou s'il souhaitait "emporter d'autres personnes dans sa mort". Les prochains jours seront dédiés à clarifier ses motivations. La quantité d'explosifs retrouvée dans son sac à dos aurait cependant pu tuer bien plus de personnes, a-t-il souligné. M. Herrmann n'a "pas exclu" la piste islamiste.

Le directeur adjoint de la police d'Ansbach, Roman Fertinger, a également parlé d'"indices" selon lesquels des pièces de métal ont été ajoutées à l'explosif.

 

Pas de billet

Dimanche, l'homme s'était vu refuser l'entrée du festival de musique en plein air d'Ansbach qui se tenait dans la ville, car il n'avait pas de ticket d'entrée. Les plus de 2000 personnes rassemblées pour l'événement ont été évacuées juste après l'explosion.

La bombe a détonné peu après vers 22h00 devant un restaurant du centre-ville, à proximité immédiate du festival. Une large zone autour du site était toujours fermée tôt lundi matin.

Le suspect vivait à Ansbach. Il a déjà tenté par deux fois de s'ôter la vie et a fait un séjour en clinique psychiatrique pour cette raison, a ajouté le ministre. Il est arrivé en Allemagne il y a deux ans et sa demande d'asile a été rejetée un année après.

Série de tragédies

Cet attentat survient à un moment où le pays est sous haute tension après une série de tragédies. C'est aussi la troisième fois en une semaine que l'Etat régional de Bavière est frappé par un drame.

Vendredi soir, un jeune homme de 18 ans souffrant également de troubles psychiatriques, obsédé par les tueries de masse mais a priori sans lien avec le djihadisme, a tué neuf personnes à Munich et en a blessé grièvement 11 autres lors d'une fusillade.

Le 18 juillet, un demandeur d'asile se disant de nationalité afghane avait déjà blessé à la hache cinq personnes dans un train à Würzburg, lors d'une attaque revendiquée par le groupe djihadiste Etat islamique.

Enfin, non loin de la Bavière, un demandeur d'asile syrien de 21 ans a tué dimanche à la machette une femme avec qui il venait de se disputer et a blessé trois autres personnes, dans une crise de rage a priori passionnelle, à Reutlingen, localité de 100'000 habitants proche de Stuttgart (sud-ouest).
