Nakoula Basseley Nakoula est le réalisateur du film islamophobe qui a déclenché des manifestations contre des ambassades américaines depuis trois jours, a déclaré une source policière ayant requis l'anonymat jeudi, confirmant les informations de l'agence Associated Press.

L'homme revendiquant le film "Innocence of Muslims" ("innocence des musulmans") s'était présenté comme un juif israélien du nom de Sam Bacile vivant en Californie mais l'AP a fait le rapprochement dès mercredi avec un certain Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, 55 ans, un chrétien copte de Californie du Sud.
