Attentat de Nice: Yverdon rend hommage à Kayla, 6 ans, et à sa maman, tuées le 14 juillet

La ville d'Yverdon-les-Bains était en pleurs ce lundi soir, pour rendre hommage à la petite Kayla, 6 ans, et sa maman, fauchées le soir du 14 juillet par le camion fou de la Promenade des Anglais, à Nice.

Environ 150 personnes ont rendu hommage lundi soir à Yverdon-les-Bains (VD) à la mère de 31 ans et sa fillette de six ans décédées dans l'attentat de Nice. Par petits groupes, les participants ont déposé des bougies et des fleurs devant le Temple.

Certaines personnes ont aussi laissé des peluches et des dessins d'enfants près d'un drapeau brésilien, le pays d'origine de la mère. La manifestation s'est déroulée dans le silence.

Les autorités yverdonnoises et le Conseil d'Etat vaudois ont adressé leurs condoléances à la famille endeuillée. Les deux victimes du Nord vaudois séjournaient en famille à Nice. Très choqués, le père et les deux autres enfants, âgés de huit mois et quatre ans, ont été hospitalisés.

L'attentat de jeudi soir à Nice, dans le sud de la France, a fait trois victimes venant de Suisse. Outre les deux Yverdonnoises, une Tessinoise de 54 ans a perdu la vie, heurtée par un camion sur la promenade des Anglais, le soir de la fête du 14 juillet.
