Crash du Super Puma au Gothard: le câble électrique est bien la cause de l'accident

Un câble électrique est bien en cause dans le crash du Super Puma survenu mercredi dernier au Gothard. L'hélicoptère l'a heurté avant de s'écraser, faisant deux morts.

L'enquête se poursuit pour savoir si tout était en ordre avec la ligne électrique.

La collision avec un câble électrique est bien la cause du crash de l'hélicoptère Super Puma de l'armée survenu mercredi dernier près de l'hospice du St-Gothard, qui a fait deux morts. L'enquête se poursuit pour savoir si tout était en ordre avec la ligne électrique.

"A ce stade de l'enquête, la collision avec la ligne électrique est à l'origine du crash de la machine", a indiqué dimanche à l'ats le porte-parole de la justice militaire Tobias Kühne, confirmant une information du SonntagsBlick.

L'idée que l'hélicoptère a arraché le câble lors de sa chute ne s'est pas confirmée. Les autorités militaires avaient déjà pu exclure une défaillance technique.

Le crash a coûté la vie aux deux pilotes. L'assistant de vol a été grièvement blessé.

Aucune erreur du chef

Dans une interview au journal dominical, le ministre de la défense Guy Parmelin apporte son soutien au commandant des Forces aériennes Aldo Schellenberg, malgré la série noire. A ce stade, M. Schellenberg jouit de toute sa confiance, dit Guy Parmelin. Il est un bon commandant: "je n'ai absolument aucune raison de m'en séparer. Il n'a commis aucune erreur fondamentale", a ajouté le conseiller fédéral.

Aldo Schellenberg avait déjà lancé des recherches internes avant les accidents pour savoir où et comment améliorer les mesures de sécurité. Guy Parmelin dit comprendre les larmes du commandant après le crash de l'hélicoptère: "Je comprends pleinement cette émotion. Le contraire m'aurait dérangé. Peut-être connaissait-il les victimes personnellement".
