Les hommages pleuvent pour David Bowie

L'onde de choc provoquée par le décès du chanteur se répercute sur les réseaux sociaux. Acteurs du monde politique, de la chanson et du cinéma rendent hommage à la légende qu'était David Bowie.

Les hommages à David Bowie affluent de toute part.

C'est un doux euphémisme que de dire que le chanteur britannique David Bowie a marqué l'histoire de la musique. Rien d'étonnant donc à voir affluer les messages d'hommage à la star sur les réseaux sociaux. Célébrités et politiques, tous louent l'immense artiste.

Pour le Premier ministre britannique, David Cameron, le chanteur représente une partie de son enfance. "J'ai grandi en écoutant et en regardant le génie de la pop qu'était David Bowie. Il était passé maître dans l'art de la réinvention. C'est une perte immense."

 

Le ministère allemand des Affaires étrangères a aussi fait part de sa tristesse et rappelé la contribution de David Bowie à la chute du Mur de Berlin avec son morceau "Heroes". "Aurevoir David Bowie. Vous faites désormais partie des héros. Merci d'avoir contribué à faire tomber le Mur."

 

Les Rolling Stones ont aussi fait part de leur désarroi devant la perte de leur compatriote. "Les Rolling Stones sont choqués et profondément attristés d'apprendre la mort de notre ami David Bowie. En plus d'être un homme merveilleux et gentil, c'était un artiste extraordinaire et vraiment original."

 

Le chanteur punk anglais, Billy Idol, se dit lui aussi effondré. "Les larmes me montent aux yeux à l'annonce du décès de David Bowie."

 

Le rappeur américain, Kanye West, rend hommage à la créativité sans borne de David Bowie. "Il était l'une de mes principales sources d'inspiration, si courageux et créatif. Il nous a donné de la magie pour toute une vie."

 

Madonne cite également l'artiste protéiforme parmi ses influences majeures. "Je suis dévastée! Ce grand Artiste a changé ma vie! Premier concert que j'aie jamais vu à Détroit! RIP." Dans un autre tweet, la chanteuse a posté une photo d'elle en sa compagnie avec ces mots: "Si chanceuse de t'avoir rencontré. Je t'aime tellement mon clochard sexy!"

 

L'acteur américain, Mark Ruffalo, retient aussi la folie géniale de l'icône de la pop. "Repose en paix père de tous ces fous que nous sommes. Triste, triste jour."

 

D'autres louent l'homme qui se cachait derrière Ziggy Stardust, l'un des personnages de David Bowie, à l'image du chanteur Iggy Pop. "L'amitié de David était la lumière de ma vie. Je n'ai jamais rencontré une personne aussi brillante. Il était le meilleur qui soit."

 

Plus près de chez nous, certains expriment aussi leur profond regret au sujet de la disparition soudaine de l'artiste, à l'instar du patron du Paléo festival, Daniel Rossellat.

 

Le Montreux Jazz a aussi rendu hommage à l'icône britannique, qui avait enflammé le festival en 2002. "Bowie, immense star. Merci d'avoir illuminé le monde de la musique."
