Afew weeks ago I gave a talk to a group of employees at a Nyon company. Some had recently arrived here whilst others were due to move in the not-too-distant future. I was invited along to give tips and hints on living in the area, mainly from an expatriate’s point of view. Along with singing Nyon’s praises (which isn’t hard to do), I also told them about some of the local food specialities as well as the wealth of local cultural and arts events that they could enjoy all year round.
Of course I also mentioned some of the quirky things that I had come across whilst living here. One of which was the fouine and its antics.
