Last week there was an article in a Swiss supermarket magazine that caught my eye. Called “Mon Univers”, it was about the daily life of a police officer who lives near Yverdon-les-Bains. It went through his day on an hourly basis, from making breakfast at six a.m. for his five children, onto physical therapy with a trainer at 8 o’clock (the police officer is also a badminton champion), followed by a run at 9 a.m. and then heading off to work at 11:00. These types of articles always make interesting reading and give us a sneak peak into how other people live.
