Tipping it down, chucking it down, raining cats and dogs. Whatever expression you prefer, it’s fair to say it was a big deluge of rain that hit Nyon last Saturday. The Avenue Reverdil turned into a river, cars stalled in the flowing water, and lots of people had to shelter inside the La Combe shopping centre to wait for the downpour to stop. I was one of them.
