Le sélectionneur du Costa Rica démissionne

Jorge Luis Pinto n'a pas trouvé d'arrangement avec la Fédération du Costa Rica. Lors de la Coupe du monde au Brésil, il avait amené son équipe en quarts de finale.

Le Colombien Jorge Luis Pinto quitte son poste de sélectionneur de l'équipe nationale du Costa Rica. Il n'a pas réussi à trouver un nouvel arrangement avec la Fédération costaricienne.

Le coach de 61 était en poste depuis 2011. Il vient de conduire le Costa Rica en quarts de finale du Mondial au Brésil, où il ne s'est incliné qu'aux tirs au but face aux Pays-Bas, après avoir notamment battu l'Uruguay et l'Italie en phase de groupes.

Entraîneur de plusieurs clubs colombiens au cours de sa carrière, et après une saison à l'Allianza Lima au Pérou, Luis Pinto avait déjà dirigé le Costa Rica en 2004-2005, et la Colombie en 2007-2008.
